As one of the most popular and talented DJs in Arizona, DJ Kyko has played an integral part in shaping the urban scene. His residencies at Club Silver and Skylounge in Phoenix have shown to be a success of his work. DJ Kyko has practiced for 13 years perfecting his talent and continues to be a record breaker.

Born Miguel A Morales Jr in Phoenix, Arizona where he has lived all of his life, DJ Kyko grew up immersed in music thanks to his mother's love of old school, Motown, 60's and older sister's love for top 40 and hip hop. As kids, Kyko and his older sister would sit and listen to the radio daily waiting for their favorite songs to come on so they could record them on to blank cassettes. Although surrounded by music, Kyko didn’t start getting serious about djing until he was 13. He would save his lunch money that his mother would give him so he can go to the record store and buy a new record every day. "I remember buying my first record, Juicy by Notorious BIG, and taking it home to play on my dad's record I tore that turntable up!"

At the age of 16, Kyko and his mother shopped in the newspaper classifieds for his first set of turntables. Eventhough house music was Kyko's first taste of djing, He transitioned into hip hop and top 40. Kyko started djing house parties and quinceneras every weekend. At the age of 16, Kyko would land his first gig at a nightclub with DJ Shy. At the age of 19, Kyko began to spin for the mix weekends on Power 92.3 along the talents of DJ Robby Rob, DJ Mikee Mike, & DJ Fashen.
